OT--Padgett's Nightmare
 
Not basketball related, but the Virginia/Maryland lacrosse game is now moving into it's 7TH OVERTIME! Longest DI game ever.

And they play sudden death overtimes!:eek:

Who eventually won the game? I was watching a little bit but went back and forth from the D2 Championship game.

Ah, Picture in Picture Technology....
 
I was watching the Lacrosse game at the same time I was watching the end of the DIV II Mens Basketball Championship where Findlay completed a perfect season by defeating Cal Poly Pomona w/ no time left in OT on a long 3-point buzzer-beater.

Both games ended within minutes of each other. Very exciting stuff!

Not for the faint of heart.....or Mark! :D

I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess the Maryland coach is quite pi$$ed off since the refs blew an inadvertent whistle thinking he called for a TO just before one of his players fired in a goal in the first 30 seconds of OT.
