**WARNING** Women's Basketball Info Enclosed--Not for the faint of heart!

George Fox University, just outside of Portland, has an outstanding women's team, who will be in the D3 National Final tomorrow afternoon. They won the semi-final today (against the team with the national D3 player of the year) with 14 3-pointers made (14 for 29!!), which tied the 3-point record for women's D3 tournament games. The first foul of the game by either team was committed 9 minutes into the game, with the score 18-20. George Fox only had 14 fouls the whole game, and their score was over 60. All in all, a very nice afternoon for Bruins fans!!

Bruins are undefeated so far, win tomorrow will make a perfect season!!!

They scored 22 of 55 over all, 14 of 28 for 3-points. 9 total fouls in the entire game, final score, 52 to 67.

Not the ugly, scrappy foul-fest of so many women's games. Quality ball, amazing outside shooting, lots of clean steals, clean blocked shots, and solid, effective defense. Just really fun to watch.

Washington U. had already beat one undefeated team in IL Wesleyan (ranked #1 at the time) to get to the Final Four, and had to try and beat another to win it all. George Fox had built up a double-digit lead before Wash U. started chipping away to cut it to 2 with under a minute left. They then stole the inbounds pass, and a 3-pointer rattled in and out, Fox got the rebound and salted it away with FT's.

I did not see it, but I heard it was a great game.

Talked with a friend who was there (worked one of the semi-finals) and she said it was an excellent game and was very fun to watch. Kudos to Fox for the Championship and the undefeated season!
