Other officiating boards?

No doubt this must have been addressed numerous times here already but I came up with bupkiss after some keyword searches ... and there is continually new blood coming on board so why not:

Any other good boards in this vein out there that you can recommend?

The one on nfhs.org isn't too shabby.

No doubt. Was just curious if there were even more ways circulating out there to avert heading to OT, for example.

By the way, it appears the NFHS board is members-only, correct?

If you mean you have to be an individual member of the NF, then wrong. If you mean you have to register just like you do here, yes. ;)

Peace

There's a great board for fanboys. It is called McGriff's. Look it up and spend all your time there!

Google "Refstripes"

Well, your twin's twin posted one on St Paddy's Day IIRC.

Third image in last seven months. Coaches Against Cancer. St. Patrick's Day. And a third image, that I can't remember at this point. I hope that Forum members, and moderators, can live with that.

Sorry to resurrect a 6-week old thread, but this seemed like the best place to post. Larks and I have started a site: Basketballrefs.com . It has a discussion forum, but we're also hoping to post interesting news items about officials on and off the court. We have separate discussion forums for NFHS, FED, and FIBA rulesets. So for our Canadian brethren, they don't have to wade through FED interpretations to their questions.

We'll also be adding original material (hopefully in the near future), including articles written be Larks or me, as well as interviews with officials and camp clinicians from around the country.

At this point, it's just starting out. The site launches today, so if you check it out, you won't see much previous conversation. Our goal is to make it informative and constructive. We're hoping for an atmosphere of going out for pizza with other refs after your game on Friday night.

Just because they look like they are metal doesn't mean they have peas!

I use a metal whistle all the time! :D
