 Check your timing

We've had threads on this board before about how to practice your timing of 10 second, 5 second and 3 second calls. I've got it figured out. I was watching an old game on cable and Billy Packer was doing the commentary. It occurred to me that he said something stupid every second. I recorded the game and played it back, practicing my one-second timing against his stupid comments. It worked out perfectly. I would highly recommend doing this.
Of course, after listening to him for a while, you'll need meds. http://rushthecourt.files.wordpress....acker-sign.jpg |

Only problem is, Mark, we won't have Billy Packer to listen to anymore! Oh, wait, that's not a problem...

Although this reply isn't going to follow the anti-Packer vein, I did see a college official this week, while channel-surfing, that did his backcourt count with his fingers instead of the arm back and forth. He clearly did 1 finger, then 2, then 3, then 4, then all five, then started over with his thumb for 6 seconds and so on. Haven't ever seen that before, but I guess no one could really mistake what number he would be on.
	Anyone else do this? |
