Syracuse vs Seton Hall: Getting kinda chippy....
Anyone watching this game? 2 unsporting techs, followed by an intentional on the next trip down the floor; the reserve ref is out helping keep the peace.
Yikes! |

The alternate official really jumped in there. Is this a usual practice? |
I thought that was great when the alternate official comes running on to the court and grabs two players...they probably could of had a couple more technicals later in the game.
This darn daylights savings time is making everyone crabby!!!!!:):) |

Alternate on the job....its more than just foul charting! I thought this was excellent. |
It was quite a game from my viewpoint:
http://img259.imageshack.us/img259/9678/img0426.jpg Wife took me to NYC for two days for Christmas/Birthday gift and capped it off with good seats for the evening session last night. Watching it live, I thought the first double T was going to end up with the Seton Hall kid tossed. I think they just called a T on Onuaku before they went to the monitor, but I saw what I thought was an open-handed punch from the Seton Hall player and I was expecting them to see it on the monitor and run him. Upon further review, he just pushed Onuaku's arm out of his face. As for the second altercation, the alternate official was on the court with a reaction time that a cat would envy. |
Nice shot, Penn.
It seems also that Syracuse can wear those unis out trick or treating since their reflective numbering will easily be seen by cars.:D |
We all seem to agree that the alternate did a good job getting on the court. I'm curious, however, as to whether or not the NCAA brass would agree.
