KU/Texas Tech Jumpball
 

The initial jumpball results in a scrum and an immediate held ball about four seconds into the game.

The officials nailed the administration (the U2 came in quickly made the held ball call and pointed out the two involved players to his partners) as they had #21 for Texas Tech, listed as a 5-11 guard and the shortest player on the team, and a much bigger player for Kansas, whose number I could not discern, participate in the second jump ball.

Pat Knight was seen sharing a quick smile with the U1 about it. :)

I had this happen twice this year in Varsity games. One boys, one girls. I had never had this happen prior to this year. The looks from the kids involved were great . . . "huh? Me?" :p

Didn't happen to me this year, but it did last year once. A1 was a 5'0" pipsqueak point guard, B1 was a 6'2" muscular power forward. My partner looked at me funny as if he was daring me to have a bad toss. I was literally pinching myself to see if it was all real!
