Sportsmanship

I'd like to gather as much information as I can on sportsmanship programs that exist around the country. I know that some states have enacted programs that include advertising, fan and player education, school involvement, etc. I'd like to try and get something like that going in my area. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

In Vermont, officials rate schools on sportsmanship. That would include coaches, players AND fans. This is done for each game, so if one game is particularly above or below the norm for sportsmanship, it should all even out. An award is presented to the school named in honor of a longtime basketball coach who passed away several years ago from cancer. Banners hang from the walls of schools who have won the award alongside any other school team accomplishments.

Iowa does this as well. My current state does not.
