Just Like The Old Days

Friend of mine got to toss up 5 jump balls tonight.

Experimental rule that held balls under 2 minutes are actual jump balls? :D

I had three in a game last week. Second game of a double header. First game nearly went overtime as well.

Here I thought that he had four bad tosses. Certainly what MP was hoping the explanation would be.:D

I had a friend do three jump balls once...all at the beginning of the game. He had butterflies so bad that night it took him three tries to get it right.

Piss poor officiating if you ask me. LOL

I have had 2 OT games back to back. Not working with those partners again. LOL

I don't understand the "LOL" references in these instances.

My first Varsity game ever went to 3 OT. 5 tosses because in the second OT there was a held ball before possession was established. My partner was about to toss the ball with the two original jumpers until I pointed out the two involved in the held ball should jump.

Bubba - you'll have to excuse Mark. He's well-known for breaking out in hives at the very mention of "overtime". He will do anything in his power to avoid an OT in his game. Thus the reason for his not understanding of the "LOL" reference - he's always "dead serious" about never having an OT.

<font size=1>(Or so he says. You and I both know it's a standard joke amongst officials; there are a few here that get annoyed that he seems to take it to a different level. But, then again, he is off his meds quite a bit.)

Well actually we (not me) called legitimate foul with 1.7 left in reg and the girl missed both ft's to send it to ot. It sucked.
