Coach Trips Player. Banned For Life.
|
I guess the lifetime ban can be lifted after 2.5 years. That's sad.
|
Maybe he was attempting to trip an official and missed...
I'm surprised there weren't criminal assault charges added as well. This guy sounds like a real piece of work.

Article doesn't say if coach was tossed after that. I would assume he was.
Also, was he given a T (which, in my opinion, could have been flagrant) for his comment to the refs that "the game...was too rough and they needed to take control or he would take action"? If coach says that to me, he can go get squeaky clean in the shower and ask his wife how the rest of the game ended! But its rediculous that he tripped a kid after that too!!! |
I went to the south mid-season meeting on the 11th. [Still in VT for a few more days] Nothing was mentioned about the incident, probably on advice from superiors. I am assuming the guy was gone. But you never know.

Next stop, Hickory High. :D

26 year gap, I would not work in a state where this happens if I were you. I suggest you move to Florida! ;)

So his idea of taking action to clean up the rough game is to......
what a nutter! |
I heard the guy was moving to Molalla.

Oh, wait. There's more.

Sheesh...this guy has some serious issues!

Wow. This guy should be a choir boy after the first incident and then he does that. What a tool!

Apparently he didn't want to waste any time in starting to build a "track record" for his reinstatement hearing in 2 and a half years. I'm sure the committee will be suitably impressed.
