I don't think Title IX applies to the amount of officials contracted for a game.

It's weird because for the Quarter-finals of the district play-offs they only use 2-man also but then for the semi's and finals they use 3.

I'm surprised, as it could easily be interpreted that the schools are spending more money on their boys games than the girls games.

I see where you're coming from but I think (and I'm no expert) that the gist of Title IX may be $$$ spent to ensure equal participatory opportunities.

I'm no Title IX expert nor apologist, you may be right.

Note: not that I'm against Title IX, I just think it's caused a few problems. Whether the benefits were worth the problems is debatable, but I'll admit far more good has come than bad.
