Signals Chart - what the heck?

Seems like they tasked an intern with the signals labeling.

Signal 3: Stop clock for jump/held ball.
Its a held ball. Yeah they used to jump. But it is a held ball. Certainly we're not using it if there is a violation during a jump ball.

Signal 15: Point(s) scored -- use 1 or 2 fingers after signal 14.
One finger?

Signal 22: Over and back.
Searched and searched and searched. Can't find 'over and back' in rules book. Did this used to be the name of backcourt violation?

Signal 24: 5-second violation.
Searched and searched and searched. Can't find '5-second violation' in rules book. Did this used to be the name of closely guarded violation?

Why would the language on the signals chart be so out of sync with the rules book? It pisses me off! [/Rant ended]

You are if the opening tap leads to a held ball which then leads to a "jump ball". :)

You really have to find something else to get upset over. :)

Peace

One finger?

Foul during a FT.

So, the only "rant" that seems to have any merit is the "over and back."

I agree with Rut.

Nice Catch Though, Keep Up The Good Work ...

referee99: You've got way, way, too much time on your hands. Are you injured? Have you retired from your day job? On vacation, and don't have anything better to do, which, in my opinion, is a waste of vacation money?
