Can't see the game clock when the ball is touched inbounds, but looks like a valid tap to me. Player didn't catch and then shoot. If it were me, I'd count it...

Unfortunately, I can't get any of them to play. Must be my ad block. Darn, I really wanted to watch the "Hooters Dream Girl 2009" video that's listed.

Watched this on a sports show yesterday. They said this play was "no accident" and it's practiced. As the players walked off the court there was no real excessive hoopla and huge clebration as you would expect. Lucky? Absolutely! But, apparently practiced.

The player who "tapped it" was said to be quite the football player too! Pretty cool! :cool:

I'm inclined to count it. Looks like a valid tap.

this was sportscenter #1 play on Tuesday -- and I dont care if i practiced it -- if i made this in a game i would have run up to all the cheerleaders and kissed them.

I saw this video on SportsCenter and the time remaining according to the ESPN announcers was 0.5 sec. Meaning, by rule there was a enough time for a field goal attempt to be taken.

Did anyone notice the scoreboard behind the basket? Did I see one of the teams had 3 points? Maybe that's why there was no excessive celebration - it was only the end of the 1st quarter?

That's a tap...he never grabbed the ball.

That stuck out for me on the play.
The "shooter" looked to the official to see if it counted and walked to the huddle.
