GJV, home is up by two with time running down. Visitors score a layup with 2 seconds left.

Sorry, Padgett, but it was a good game.

3-man I bet, too. :p

OTs are lots of fun, actually. The players love it and the fans love it. Because of that, coaches loves them too.

I wasn't going to say anything. :)

I went to the Warriors/Kings game a few weeks ago. It turned out to be quite the battle between two rather poor teams and the game ended up going 3 OTs before the Kings squeaked out the win. Obviously the officials on this game did not attend Mark's seminar on avoiding OT. ;)

They have higher a higher authority directing them to maximize TV revenue. /sarcasm

You're assuming anybody was watching this game on TV. The stadium was fairly empty. :D

The Kansas City Kings were the Syracuse Nationals and then the Cincinnati Royals before becoming the Kansas City Royals which then became the Kansas City Royals. :D

And of course who can forget the L.A. Clippers when they were the Buffalo Braves before becoming the San Diego Conqestidors.

We can all forget that part. San Diego Conquistadors were an ABA team.

I agree with you but what were the Braves called when they moved to San Diego and before they moved to L.A. I know that they were the Clippers in San Diego, but I thought there was a name change to something else first when they moved from Buffalo to San Diego.

Apparently not.
