1st one in two years

BJV last night, 3 man (yeah yeah, I know).
Late in the game, V is trying to come back from about 6 down.

V coach starts screaming that we missed a travel (the kid was dribbling) during transition. Then, on the same transition, H made a great layup play and V coach wanted a travel there. On my way back down (I was L in V's FC) I tell him we've heard enough and hear the whiny, "You missed two of them" as a parting shot.

About 30 seconds later, I'm C in his FC as his shooter attempts a three. Before the defender makes any contact, V coach is "asking" for a foul. Contact is incidental; after the shooter landed and very minor even though the shooter obviously tried to overreact into a foul call. As I head the other way, coach continues and starts screaming, "That's a foul!" in my ear.

I stop at the table as I hit the whistle and make myself some T.

Partner goes to inform him of his newly earned seatbelt, and he says "I bet you could see that from Lead."

"Incidental contact, coach. By the way, you need to have a seat now."

I have him again in two weeks. :)

A good partner, Who can find. His value is more than pearls. Love it when someone who is paying attention has your back.

Taking care of business every way
I've been taking care of business, it's all mine
Taking care of business, and working overtime."

very well deserved T Snaq, the coach was clearly questioning the integrity of your calls =)
