I was assuming before I watched the video the chest bump was to an opposing player; then you would have an argument.

But to a teammate after a good play? I'll pass.

cardinalfan Sun Jan 25, 2009 08:34am

Nothing. Official did a good job to walk in and make sure it didn't get out of hand.

You've got to be kidding.

Before seeing the vid I thought you must be talking about an intimidation chest bump. T a celebration bump that doesn't delay the game? Nowhere even near the border, IMO.

Ask your buddy to show you where the rules state that all celebrations are unsporting.

Lord knows I appreciate a nice T when we can get them, but this ,not even on my radar.

Though had the last of my 4 yearly Junior High games yesterday and little Johnny did the whole hand wave thing in my face asking where is his call. I happily obliged him with a call.

T baby.

Nothing.

As for the "automatic T" - tell your buddy to "never say always, never say never."

grunewar Sun Jan 25, 2009 10:47am

If that's an "automatic" T, your buddy needs to dial it back a bunch! You start calling those, it's gonna be a long yr. I got nothing.

bigdogrunnin Sun Jan 25, 2009 11:33am

I have to admit that I was expecting some kind of egregious display toward another opponent. UH, I didn't even have to watch the video twice. NOTHING to get. Perfectly valid display of emotion and excitement.

There is absolutely NO WAY this gets a T. At least not in my case. EVER.

My thoughts exactly.

I got nothing. I might have a quick word with the player but I never touch players as the official in that video did.

Larks Sun Jan 25, 2009 09:44pm

Nothing!

AKOFL Sun Jan 25, 2009 09:58pm

Not sure what all the excitement was about. Maybe he wanted to T him up for thinking that was such a great play. I get that excited because I can still run up and down the floor much less block a shot. He would prbably throw me out of the game I get so excited when I actually block a shot:D

Ding...Ding...

this response is what I was looking for! I got nuthin' and don't grab at the players.

Good observation Kevin.
