BJV last night. Midway through 2nd quarter, I call V21 for a foul; we're shooting one-and-one. Coach sends in two subs, and as soon as they're on the floor, I see him send another one in quick.

As I wave him in, I realize the third sub is V21. I send him back to the bench, and tell the coach the clock has to run.

Coach is grinning ear to ear. "Good catch. I was just testing you."

Let's hope there was a D2 (referee) scout in the stands! ;)

Funny thing is, I didn't get a chance to tell him, but I likely wouldn't have caught it if he hadn't tried to send in the player who had just committed a foul.
