Marquette/Providence

Did anyone see this game and the fan that walked out onto the court to confront an official right before a free throw?

I guess there was a no-call that resulted in a player having to leave due to a cut(?). I guess this player's third or fourth cousin didn't like it and came out onto the court to talk to the official getting ready to administer a free throw. He was sitting right behind their bench and stepped over the chairs and came onto the floor.

I hope this man learned a valuable lesson this evening in jail.

SportsCenter has shown this clip several times already, and I'm sure that it will be shown quite a few more.

Bizarre.

I did see the play right after the incident happen. And the play in question was not at all dirty or malicious in any way. It was clearly an unfortunate accident.

Wierd is right.

Peace

BTW Espn is reporting that the guy who came out of the stands was the brother of the injured player.

Wow, you got me. How will I ever recover from such a spelling mistake where you type material?

Peace
