Mark Padgett wroteI knew a scorekeeper who would make a check mark next to APOB every time he saw "A Pretty Old Broad" in the stands. I asked him if he meant a broad who was pretty old or an old broad who was pretty and he said it was the latter. :p
Proper punctuation solves this issue: a pretty old broad vs. a pretty, old broad (respectively). 😛
