Scorekeeping/APOB

I am doing the scorekeeping for a youth basketball league and the score sheets have a field titled "APOB". I have no clue what this stands for. Any ideas?

A guess on my part (I've worked a clock but never a book)...Alternating Posession, Out of Bounds? A space on the sheet for you to keep track of who has the next alternating posession.

No, it's to keep track of how many times a player "Aggressively Pounds On Backboard". :)

That's right, it's a NFHS Point of Emphasis this season. You know what they say, "Always listen to mark". At least they say something like that.

I knew a scorekeeper who would make a check mark next to APOB every time he saw "A Pretty Old Broad" in the stands. I asked him if he meant a broad who was pretty old or an old broad who was pretty and he said it was the latter. :p

Proper punctuation solves this issue: a pretty old broad vs. a pretty, old broad (respectively). :p
