Floor Test
 

Newbie...first year and first (and only) floor test is coming up this weekend. Any tips/advice from those of you who have been there and done that....either as an official doing a rating or as an official who just recently gone through a floor rating?

Know your area and don't ball watch.

Trust your mechanics and call the game. If you think you made a mistake, forget it. Do not let it affect the way you officiate the rest of the game.

In my area, the observer comes into the locker room immediately following the game to discuss the good and the bad. Don't make excuses for the bad.

Relax and focus on your primary area. If ball is not in your area, watch the competitive match ups in your area.

Slow down, you will be much to fast with everything that you do.
