Question about a layup

Hey All ..
I want to know the name of the layup where the player turns the ball as a circle and jump to shoot.

What is this called?

Coolish, we're a bunch of referees here. We typically don't know the cool names for the moves that players do to show off. You might have more luck finding an answer by looking through an And-1 mix tape or something.

2 points, same as the rest of the made baskets inside the three point stripe.

This is called "very poor sentence construction."

I'm not really getting a good visual in my head, but if you have to ask, there's a good chance it's some kind of violation.

Maybe it's a "crab dribble."

We can be a rather unforgiving bunch at times.

Wait, I know this one! It's the hokey-pokey.

Having played, officiated, and coached, I dont have the darndest visual of what this is asking. And I dont recall the last time I saw a shot in which the player did not jump.

That would be a "set shot." It's an old antiquated technique that died as defenders started trying to block shots.

I'm certain MTD, Sr. could provide more information. Padgett could help as well, but I'm not sure if he's taken his meds yet this year.

I got this one. You're in the wrong sport. A "set shot" is when Bjorn Borg used to pass John McEnroe down the line to win 6-4.
