Was MJ there?

Iolani Classic Hawaii Basketball Tournament

Teams were:
Fairfax (CA)
Iolani (HI)
Oak Hill Academy (VA)
Kaimuki (HI)
Dematha (MD)
Leilehua (HI)
LeFlore (AL)
Moanalua (HI)
Montrose Christian (MD)
McKinley (HI)
Putnam City (OK)
Mid Pacific (HI)
Whitney Young (IL)
Maryknoll (HI)
Tsinghua (China)
Kamehameha (HI)
I worked the Iolani in 2004, 05, & 06. Great tournament, excellent teams, very well run. The shot clock is a new twist...didn't have that when I worked it. I think there is also now a girls division...were there any top mainland teams playing in it? One other positive note: The Iolani gym is air conditioned...a real bonus in Hawaii

That is how is older brother Jeffrey played when they were both at Loyola Academy a couple of years ago. I have not ever seen kids that did not seek the spotlight as Jeffrey and Marcus with a famous relative as these two have tried to avoid attention.

Peace
