I got a few pairs of the Underarmour Heat Gear black socks.

Looking forward to trying these out during the Holiday Tournament weekend!

I will venture a guess that your iPOD looks different from anyone else's.

Bought myself a new whistle the other day. Got money for Christmas so I'm buying a new pair of pants. Might have to spring for some new shoes too with some of the money. Oh yeah, got a new huge Adidas duffel bag from the wife to replace the tiny bag I've been using.

My Son purchased me a new rolling bag. So now I have to clean out the old one and find new places for each item to "live".

I got new shoes for both BB (Nike Air Max Torch II) and BSB (field shoes--Mizuno Wave Trainers.) My wife made a crack about she felt like she was buying for a woman this year, then I gently reminded her who had an entire corner of the closet dedicated to shoes.

I got a new free-range, organic, natural fiber whistle with a hemp lanyard. Hey - this is Oregon. On the whistle, it says "no plastic was harmed in the manufacturing of this product".

Yep, the top part is. There is at least one guy in my association that has these same shoes. He's a veteran guy who does D2 games as well. I figure if they're acceptable for him they'll work for me. At the big holiday tournament here I saw a couple of other guys wearing suede shoes also. I think they were Jordans.

Aren't suede shoes really heavy? I remember the old suede Chuck Taylors!

I have some Puma shoes that are suede and they're very light. I wouldn't imagine it will be a problem.

I would imagine that the problem would be those unsightly scuff marks!
