I'm happy as long as they at least get the attention of myself or whoever my timer partner is. I don't make a big deal unless it's a coach that thinks they can have players just kneel out of my line of sight and not get anyone's attention, and then wants to know why we aren't signalling ofr a subsitution. :mad:

I've also been known to reply to a coach yelling "Sub! Sub! Sub!" without a player checking in, "Bring 'em down, Coach, this isn't volleyball." :D
