Now that my technical's out of the way...

I mentioned I hadn't had one in 3 years or so (actually, it was January 15, 2007, looking at my files, so I exaggerated). Anyone who knows me knows I'm not one to shy away from situations, I just hadn't had any in a while. Actually, in 10 varsity games this season, I haven't had a coach say much of anything. I know, it's still early in the season.

Didn't last night either. Rather, we had a guard (A4) drive for a layup with his momentum carrying him well out of bounds. Player from B (B40) takes the ball out of bounds to throw it in and as A4 goes past him back in bounds, he slapped the ball out of B40's hands.

Before I really processed what had happened (consciously), I had already called the technical and was heading to the table.

Home coach asked what happened, I explained, he replied, "Oh, okay."

Well, it looks like the 2.5 hour drive in the ice and snow was worth it.
