TC fouls in these situations are explicitly intended by the rules. Case play 4.19.7 SITUATION B.

Only in the NBA. There's team control, so why shouldn't it be a team control foul. If you are saying that you think team control should be ended on a defensive bat, I can see the point in that, but I don't see the need to change it. I don't think it improves the game to shoot free throws in that situation. |
