What for?

budjones05 Sat Dec 13, 2008 10:42pm

Dumb players who get the foul call, but started getting into the person who fouled them faces

ajs8207 Sat Dec 13, 2008 10:45pm

That happened 5 times?

You'd think after the 4th guy got nailed, the 5th guy would have gotten the message and backed off.

I figure that too. At least the crew was consistent!

I was at this game and actually, it was 6 T's. I bet there were at least that many moving screens called as well. I think I counted 4 or 5 in the first half alone. The first T's came as a double. Guy from cincy fouled and then taunted a guy from Xavier who promptly head butted him. I think Higgins gave most of them out. He gave out the double in the first half and he had the ejection of the X player in the second half.

Crew was Tim Higgins, John Cahill and Carl Hess

Xavier coach Sean Miller said. "I was disappointed he couldn't finish the game. No coach wants his team to have four technical fouls. Obviously we were out of control tonight."

It's nice to see the coach put the blame on his team and admit that they were misbehaving instead of pointing the finger at someone else.

Wouldn't a heat butt be considered a fight?

Would be? Perhaps....but not necessarily. Certainly T'able, but Fight/Flagrant would depend in intensity/severity.

It was a weak head butt in fact if he wasn't running his mouth there might not have been a call.

but on the replay he did dip his head forward into the UC player.

They had a Final Four crew on this game...Tim Higgins, John Cahill, and Karl Hess. All the technicals were warranted. They did a great job of keeping control of the game.

If I observed a player head-butting another player he's done - enjoy the bench for the rest of the game.
