First 3-man game on Monday
 

I have my first JV 3 man game on Monday. A guy in my associstion asked me if I wanted to work the 3rd to gain experience. Any pointers?

Officiate the game first, and worry about where you should be on the floor after that. It's easy to lose track of what's going on in the game because you're worried about being in the right position.

Read up on it before hand if you have the time, stay in your primary, trust your partners, maintain good eye contact, and ensure you have a GOOD PREGAME and most importantly have fun.

I had my first "big time" three man varsity game last night and give myself a rating of a C+. I was not comfortable at the start, but got better as the game progressed. My positioning was pretty good but all of us needed to tighten down at half-time and we did.
