Unsporting Foul Example

Would someone please provide an example(s) of 10.1.8 team unsporting foul? I read the case book but was looking to better understand what this type of foul would look like. Thanks in advance.

What's the rule say? If you can type it out, I'll give you an example.

ART.8...Commit an unsporting foul. This includes, but is not limited to, acts or conduct such as:

a.) Disrespectfully addressing or contacting an official or gesturing in such a manner as to indicate resentment.

b.) Using profane or inappropriate language or obscene gestures.

c.) Baiting or taunting an opponent.

NOTE: The NFHS disapproves of any form of taunting which is intended or designed to embarrass, ridicule or demean others under any circumstances including on the basis of race, religion, gender or national origin.

d.) Obstructing the vision of an opponent not in control of the ball by waving hands near his/her eyes.

NOTE: Purposely diverting an opponent's attention by waving is different than holding or waving the hands near the opponent's eyes for the express purpose of obstructing the vision so that he/she cannot catch the ball.

e.) Climbing on or lifting a teammate to secure greater heigth.

f.) Knowingly attempting a free throw or accepting a foul to which the player was not entitled.

g.) Use tobacco or smokeless tobacco.

Split Personality?

If so, then he/she could be both lead and trail at the same time. What a great way to avoid those inconvenient blarges.

I once did a thesis on the topic "Split Personalities." I got an A- and a B+.

And just think, double the game fees!

Thanks for the replies and examples, but most (if not all) of those seem to be player technicals under 10.3.6. 10.1.8 specifically is for team technicals:

A team shall not commit and unsporting foul.

I can see the language or profane gesture, perhaps during pre-game or half-time warmups, but wouldn't most of the others be a player technical as in 10.3.6? How would a team commit an unsporting foul? Is that a catch-all for anything not articulated in the administrative technical section?

You might look in the case book. I think there are a couple of interesting things there.
