2nd forfeit of my (short) career

Wreck league ball.

A1 makes a really athletic layup over B1 in the second half. As A1 comes back down and makes his way to the other end of the court, he turns around to B1 and says "SUCKA!!"

Whack!

A team captain calls a timeout to ask me (emphatically) why in the world I would dare call a technical on his teammate. I tell him "Taunting. He turned around and said "sucka" to the other team. Unsportsmanlike." He wants to continue discussing so I walk away and go to help administer the T free throws.

As I'm opposite the table, A1 is on the bench (in this league, a T means 3 minutes on the bench) running his mouth at me. I tell him "That's enough, you've had your say." To which he gives me a "Whatever, dude."

Whack, bye bye. I was disappointed my partner didn't get him for me, but a lot of the guys in this league will take all sorts of abuse for some reason.

A team captain just shakes his head but doesn't say anything to me.

Later in the game, about 2:30 left in the game. Team A is down by 12. I'm Trail and call a foul on A team captain, who gets in my face and for whatever reason starts going off about the technical foul again. I tell him "That's enough, we're done talking about that." He keeps yelling and finally says "JUST T ME UP WHY DON'T YOU"

So I don't just whack him, I toss him.

To that, ANOTHER of his teammates comes over and wants to have words. "Why don't you just T me up too?"

Ballgame.

What a night!
