Micro mesh

Anybody mess with the micro mesh stripes?

Thinking about getting one, as I sweat alot. Looks like they might keep me a lot cooler than the others, but the material also looks "see through".

Any feedback?

I just bought the closed loop mesh from Purchase Officials Supplies and I think it looks great.

The Smitty shirts at Purchase Officials are sharp and the mesh is hardly noticable unless you are looking up close. They are super comfortable and you can get 2 shirts for $33 (Buy one at $22 and get one half price). They also have a shirt/pants combo for something like $51. Great deal and great products.

if you're concerned about about the see through factor (which is only an issue when up close and personal, if at all, a black undershirt does the trick. i sweat a lot as well and i wear micro's with black under armour skin tight (heat gear, i think?) under shirts. once you saturate the undershirt you're going to still be really sweaty, but this combo keeps you reasonable cool since everything is so light. just my $.02.

Thanks all!

it's all I've ever worn, and love them -- and I do wear a black undershirt -- white undershirts show through a little too much

Have 4 of these and love them. Can't go wrong w/ the price either!

Got a new Smitty like this and a new pair of sansabelts today. New patches and pants hemmed and I'm ready to go.

I definitely like the mesh shirts, not near as scratchy and hot as the polys.

I only wear the micro or ultra mesh shirts. They are very cool and they take sweat off of you very well. I still have the poly shirts; I just do not wear them anymore. ;)

Peace

Holy smokes!! Bob, are you officially on the beltless wagon now?

I wear the Official's Choice shirts. Great shirt at a great price! For my money, those are hard to beat.

I've always hated the poly, so before the micro fiber shirts appeared on the market, I was a cotton/poly kinda guy. Now I'm strictly an Officials Choice shirt guy. They're lightweight, breathe well, keep me cool, and they look good. Oh, and they are a steal compared to some of the $30 shirts I see advertised other places.

Oh, and my wife sews all my flags on for me. Get's the flag patches at Walmart for about $1 each. Beats the $5-$10 most places want to charge you to add one to a shirt.
