Headbands

Is it legal, in NFHS, to have the schools name on the Headband?
ex: UCLA or DUKE
Is it legal to have the schools mascot's name on the Headband?
ex: Bruins or Bluedevils
Is it legal to have any letters on the Headband if they are not part of a manufacture logo?

The headband must be "unadorned", except for that manufacturer's logo.

The school logo/mascot is ok, as long as it meets the size requirements (2 1/4 in. x 2 1/4 in.). IMHO, it would not be ok to have the letters U C L A written out so that they stretched around a quarter of the headband. That's what I was envisioning the OP to mean.

Alright... my point was that there is something else other than a manufacturer's logo that's permitted.

Ok, what if the the letters "UCLA" fit into size requirements; would it still be legal if the team actually wasn't the University of California at Los Angeles?
