I'm lucky. No need for acetaminophen (Tylenol), naproxen (Aleve), or ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin). My stomach can tolerate aspirin. I take two full strength tablets. I take it for everything: fever, joint pain, muscle aches, inflammation, headaches, etc. I wish it would do what my Viagra does. It would save me a lot of money, I need a double dose of Viagra.

Be careful using aspirin if you have heartburn, upset stomach, or stomach pain; and if you have or have ever had ulcers, anemia, bleeding problems such as hemophilia, or kidney or liver disease. And, or course, never give aspirin to a child, or a teenager, without checking with your physician first (Reye's syndrome).

I'm surprised that your doctor didn't recommend aspirin after you got your stent. If you are taking aspirin on a regular basis to prevent heart attack, or a stroke, do not take ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin) to treat pain, or fever, without talking to your doctor.

Be careful with the plantar fasciitus. Not a serious problem unless you take it lightly. Stretch, do the prescribed exercises, never go barefooted, and do not over do it with games. I had it a few years ago.
