So what are you promoting?

Congrats, Bob! All that studying paid off...I saw they were having some problems (posting?) the exam. Did you have any problems while you were taking it?

Again, congrats.

refnrev Fri Dec 05, 2008 04:20pm

The only problem was the red flashing alert that said," tjones1 wrote one of his letters." :p Actually, it worked fine, but I did see that they extended the deadline to Sunday night. It was a relatively easy test, except a few of the questions went back and covered changes that are several years old and not mentioned inthe rules book anymore... like the number of panels on a baketball, etc.

Study Materials

Did you use any materials other than the book?

I have a classification exam in January and was looking to get something to help with the exam.

refnrev Fri Dec 05, 2008 11:46pm

I used last year's Part Two, This year's part One, and the rules book. I hate the case book so I didn't use it.

I too passed my promotion test this afternoon. It's exciting. Congratulations to you!

I thought it was pretty easy. Similar to the Part 1 test. There were a few questions that I had to be careful with because one word can make the difference between the question being true or false - the IHSA can be sneaky.
