You certainly weren't too fast with the T. If anything you were too slow. Once he stomps and gestures, he needs to be dealt with. The warnings in the book are for delays, we do not have to give the courtesy of a warning for sportsmanship.
As far as the clipboard, if you see it thrown, you deal with it. If you don't, you can't guess and call the T. As far as conversations afterwards. To me, the only person you have to talk to about an unsportsmanlike T after a game is the AD. If anyone else asks, politely tell them you aren't going to discuss it. |
