You certainly weren't too fast with the T. If anything you were too slow. Once he stomps and gestures, he needs to be dealt with. The warnings in the book are for delays, we do not have to give the courtesy of a warning for sportsmanship.

As far as the clipboard, if you see it thrown, you deal with it. If you don't, you can't guess and call the T.

As far as conversations afterwards. To me, the only person you have to talk to about an unsportsmanlike T after a game is the AD. If anyone else asks, politely tell them you aren't going to discuss it.

Who says you have to talk to the AD?
fill out your paperwork and send it in, you do not have to talk to anyone. In fact in most cases you probably shouldn't talk to anyone until you have filled out your paperwork and sent in so that everything is down in writing and doesn't change from one conversation to the next if you know what I mean.

Sorry, I was unclear. You don't need to hunt down the AD, but the AD would be the only person outside of the crew that could ask me that on site and get an answer.
