Best Officiating Camps/Schools?

What, in your opinion, are some of the best camps/schools to attend for an official looking to eventually move up from high school to the collegiate level?

Depends on your goals, what level you want to reach, and if you wants mens or womens basketball. If you live in Missouri, Gerry Pollard's is the only camp I know that's in the state. If you want to do womens, Midwest ref school in Jacksonville, Illinois is another option. I've been to both and I work NAIA and JUCO ball men.

Just be prepared when you come and you will learn the right way to officiate.

Especially when you first start, geography is as important in the NAIA / D-3 / D-2 ranks as it is in HS ball. Your better off going to a "good" camp in your area than a "great" camp across the country.

Ask the officials in your association who also work college ball what they recommend in /near VA.

Where you are located that's easy.

Referee's Choice (Roger Ayers/Mike Eades)--used to be held at VTech but now is in Roanoke. And the D3 Super Camp (Gregg Bennett-ODAC; Wayne Samford-USA South) at the U of Richmond.

Referee's Choice is a teaching camp but folks have been picked up in various conferences based on that camp.
