What type of bag?

I'm new to the forum and was wondering what type of bag is recommended for officials to use?

I use a black Travelpro garment type bag on wheels, just like a regular carryon. I leave from work for most of my games and it keeps my jacket from getting all wrinkled. Has a shoe compartment, wet compartment, and toiletry compartment as well.

Use the search feature. You'll fine several threads with what we all use. Bottom line is it comes down to personal choice.

Welcome to the jungle, I mean, to the Forum, newbie. Ask the other officials in your area what they use. Almost everyone in our local IAABO board purchases our bags from one of our officials who happens to be a Rawlings supplier. It's a large, black, canvas bag, with many side pockets, that has the IAABO logo, and our name embroidered into the bag.

Best advice: "When in (fill in wherever it is you're from), do as (fill in wherever it is you're from)ers do"

Of course, cost might be a factor- I just bought a 21" Eddie Bauer rolling suitcase (aka- carryon bag) from Target for just under $80. Compared to the online retailers asking for $130 + it has the same space and amenities, just without the fancy logos... works great so far.

I have a variety of bags and I was looking for a very cheap rolling carry on type along the lines of an American Tourister. I found one at Target for 19.95!

It's not very deep, but I can get everything in fairly comfortably. I'll use it for Varsity games only of which I have around 20 dates. I know you get what you pay for but this looks like great value and has all the necessary pockets.
