I had not cleaned mine in quite some time so I used Polident. Dropped them in and it bubbled like crazy and got all the goobers off. I do like the mouthwash idea for an on-going quick clean.

And then did you use Fixodent Denture Adhesive to keep the whistle from falling out of your mouth?

I accidentally put mine in the washing machine. It came out quite clean though and it still works! Maybe I will do it again.:)

So that's why I whistle when I say my S's. I thought it was a speech impediment.

What not to do...........just found a whistle that looked a little dirty, boiled it and it lost it's shine. Good blow, no glow.

Denture and retainer cleaner works really well. My kids get the retainer cleaner free from the Ortho so I just borrow some of their tablets once a month and use mouthwash weekly.

That's like the saying we use in one of our kids competitive leagues where they are supposed to pay us before the end of halftime. If they don't we just stand there. When they ask us what we're doing just standing there we reply, "No loot, no toot".
