Chance encounter reminded me of a funny

At the grocery store this morning, I happened to run into (not physically) a college student who reffed for our local kids rec league when he was in HS. We said hi to each other and he reminded me of something he said during one of our ref clinics. When I was explaining the penalty (this was a few years ago so it was the "old" penalty) for players wearing illegal uniforms, he asked if that meant "uniforms that were stolen?"

Speaking of sentences, Letterman said Proposition 4 passed in New York City on election day. This raises the fine for first degree murder to $75.
