Thank you RefAHallic for posting this thread and the link to this article. I consider Scott Foster to be my "NBA mentor" and I knew that he could not possibly be involved in the Donaghy scandal. When attending an officials camp this summer, several observers found out I knew Scott and they asked what I thought about him being linked with Donaghy. I told them Scott had a ton of character and integrity and would not risk harming his livelihood and his family.

I spoke to Scott after his first NBA final game--he ended up having two NBA final games this year--and he had to be sky high on getting games in the Finals. When the press tried to link Scott to Donaghy, I surmised that Scott and Tim probably started their journey as professional officials at the same time and that they had become friendly. The article confirms what I assumed.
