False double technical?

Team B dribbling up floor, Coach A, complaining about a call, gets T'd, official going to report, Coach B says you should of gave the sob one earlier than that, T, for language and unsportsmanlike conduct!

Do we shoot both or off set and go with point of interruption, team
b oob? Rule # or case play pleae?

False double. Shoot in the order they occurred. Throw-in at the division line for Team A.

I haven't opened my casebook to see if there is a play. But, just read the definition of a false double foul. This is a classic example of a false double foul. One really does not need a casebook play to see why this is a false double foul.

Understand what the false double is, was just trying to get the penalty for it correct and couldn't find why you wouldn't do these like you do a double foul and go with point of interruption and not shoot either one.

Because that's not what the rule says to do for a false-double foul. Rule 10 has a penalty summary at the end, section 7 is false-doubles.

4.19.9 SITUATION C:
A1 has a breakaway lay-up. B1 commits a hard foul against A1 from behind and is called for an intentional foul. The Team A head coach protests, feeling the foul should have been a flagrant foul and is assessed a technical foul. RULING: Award A1's goal if successful. A1 shall receive two free throws with the lane spaces cleared. Any Team B player is then awarded two free throws for the technical foul. Team B will be awarded the ball for a throw-in at the division line opposite the scorers table.
