HC A has been a complete jerk to you all game. In the first half he earned his first direct T, and he's only been "just barely good enough" since then to keep himself in the game. With five minutes left in the game, A is up by 20 and HC begins sending in the scrubs. With one minute left, he gets to the farthest reaches of his bench where sits Johnny. Wearing an illegal uniform. He sends Johnny to the table to check in.

Do you...
a) Hold Johnny at the table while you ask the HC if he realizes the illegal uni will cost him a second T and ejection
b) Suppress your urge to grin from ear to ear, beckon little Johnny into the game, and assess the T
c) Beckon Johnny into the game, but ignore the illegal uni. Until A get's a breakaway. Then kill the ball and call the T

OK, yes it is a direct T to the HC (the rule change from last season). However, my interpretation of that section of the Penalty Summary on page 71 says that the foul also counts towards the team total. Yes or No? Agree or disagree?

Of course the T counts toward the team total (as all Ts except indirects do). It's still not a Team T.

OK, thanks for the clarification. Yet another example of over thinking the question on my part. Now, I wonder what the other two questions that I missed are? Time will tell, of course!
