fight and leaving the bench
 

Equal players from both teams start fighting,what is the penalty if team A has 2 players leave the bench and team B has 2 players leave the bench also ,but both players for team B participate in the fight and the 2 from Team A players do not participate,but are on the floor.

Hint: add up the penaties for each team and offset. Shoot any remainder.

Maybe jref had a fight in a game and wants to know if the penalties were administered correctly.

Or, maybe not.

Yeah, if it weren't for another "suspicious" question he asked with his first post, I probably wouldn't have said anything. ;)

But, it's Friday, it's been a long week, and I'm feeling especially spunky - and apparently a bit cynical. :D

As a follow up to this excellent hint, while the foul shots may offset regardless of participation in the fight, the number of indirect technical fouls on the head coach does not. I'd encourage reviewing the Penalty Summary in Rule 10 regarding fighting.
