How can he be #1? He was fired!!

There was a guy here in Portland who worked as a sportscaster for the local CBS affiliate. He was worse than terrible. He worked some football games and got confused on whether a kicker was attempting a field goal (which he referred to as an "FG" for some unknown reason) or an extra point. No, I am not kidding. His name is Rick Metzger and now he's a State Senator. Of course he is.

Colin Cowherd (The guy with the annoying nasal voice on ESPN Radio in the mornings) was the sports guy at the NBC station in Portland. We also endured his local radio show before he went national. His voice and constant whining got old quickly for me.

Sports talk radio.... :rolleyes: Combine that with the "strategy" clowns on TV and my eyes will glaze over right quick.

I can't stand Joe Morgan as an announcer, but how can they say he knows "nothing about sports"? He's in the Hall of Fame!

I hate it when I'm running late for work, see the clock hit 8, and realize that Cowherd is on. I hate it more when I'm not paying attention to the clock, and Mike and Mike break away and Cowherd comes on before I get a chance to change the XM station. Ruins my day.
He is the only sports radio guy I refuse to listen to. I'll even listen to Gottlieb as long as he's not talking about officiating; especially basketball officiating where he thinks he's an expert because he played D1 ball.
