Case 6.3.1D covers the throw-in mistake with the AP arrow. After the ball touches a player inbounds, it's too late to fix the possession.

Just make sure that B gets the arrow so that they will inbound next time.

The reason I asked was a few years ago I was coaching 6th graders in a championship game and this happened. I was coach of team A. Ref stopped play and awarded ball to team B and they inbounded again (this time by team B). I Didnt want to make an issue of it because of the age group.

QUESTION: If a coach requests a TO for a correctable error, but there is no correctable error, then a full TO is supposed to be charged.

What if there is no full TO left? Is there a technical foul, or is a 20-second TO charged?

The team MUST have a "full" TO or they are charged with a Tech. A 20-sec TO does them no good. Scott

Speaking of correctable errors - what if team A is given the ball according to possession arrow and inbounds to one of thier players. At that moment, coach of team B questions possession arrow. In fact, he is right and the ref realizes he is right. Is this a correctable error? Or does play continue. this

Sorry to say, but this is one we have to eat. This is NOT a correctable error. We must continue play with throw-in by team A. Please make sure possesion arrow now is set for team B on next held ball. Additionally, I would probably be a good idea to own up to our mistake with team B coach. Say sorry and inform him he gets the next arrow. Scott
