The moderator threads have run their course, and those who would like to see us get back to discussing basketball have said their piece. Several of us wanton hijackers have agreed to STFU and play nice with others.

It's time for those calling for change to step up and lead. Get some discussions going. Rules, mechanics, philosophy, whatever. I'm game. But start us off.

Thanks. I'm quite proud of starting this thread.

To be honest with you, I was quite disappointed that I've only gotten one reply, from a newbie also asking for some help with this issue, after 89 views, in twenty-four hours. I hope that I don't have to go over to the "Dead Zone" (NFHS forum) to get some help.

It feels great to have a Forum member, especially an esteemed Forum member, especially a moderator, mention my username without using the "i" word. It's nice to feel appreciated.

I've been around the board for 6 years or so I think (most of which under a different name). It seems that every year we go through a bunch of off topic stuff until the season starts. I think it is simply because we aren't out there working and coming up with new game situations. Once the season rolls around I'm sure the posts will get better.

I think it's just that it's a question that none of us have a good answer to.
