Just to support my statement that the off-topic problem comes up every year; and every (other) year, it gets better when the season rolls back around. I honestly think people are getting too worked up over the off-topic stuff. If you can just hold out until December, everything will be peachy-keen again, just like the old days.

Well, I'll say it one last time.

I haven't written one single word about off topic threads. I don't give a tinkers damn how many off topic threads there are.

I simply asked the mods not to allow legitimate basketball threads to be hijacked by inane posts, jokes, etc.

Off topic threads may go away but the hijacking won't. It will only continue to worsen, like it has for the past year.

I'm done with this.

Is it too early to say "I told you so"? :D
