This is the 2nd or 3rd time this site has been posted here. sounds like someone is trying to generate hits to a website.

Unless you read french, don't bother going.

This is a BASEBALL forum. Most of us
love BASEBALL best, and in ENGLISH.

If we are interested in soccer, we will check
out the soccer forum.

Your posts are off-topic for BASEBALL,
so how 'bout, "YER OUTTA HERE!"

OOPS, I meant to say BASKETBALL
(forgot I switched from Baseball)

But the "YER OUTTA HERE" still stands.
Or is it 2 T's?

Amistad,

Please be polite. I merely pointed out that this is the 3rd time you`ve posted the same website. Enough already.

Also, for not speaking french, you`re wrong there. Je parle très bien le français et je n'accepte pas me faire traiter de la façon que tu viens de le faire.

Tu devrais mettre ton site sur la section de soccer. Ici, nous parlons du ballon-panier. Ton message est clairement hors-contexte.

(translation available upon request)

Bonne journée

Well said. I couldn't have said it better myself. Seriously, I couldn't have.

: Why only American People don't like Soccer ?

  • 1) Too many hooligans.

  • 2) Not enough scoring (get rid of the offsides rule and make the goal as big as a barn).

  • 3) And our main reason....we pretty much suck at it!

Ooooo, great approach there, Amistad!! Insults. Very nice. Put some thought into the "hamberguers" crack, did you? Why didn't you throw in "Your mother was a hamster, and your father smelled of elderberries!!"?

If we're going to be addressing stereotypes, would you like me to bring up your most recent election and Monsieur Le Pen?

Look, you're obviously not fluent in English, so why would you expect us to go to a site that requires us to be fluent in French?

You're not getting any hits from this site, so just move on and bug somebody else. In other words, "Now, go away, or I shall taunt you a second time!!"

I think it is really great that you love soccer and are excited about the world cup, however, this is a basketball forum. Why don't American people like soccer? Probably because it isn't American and all kinds of Euros love to come to the states and try to force feed it to us. They eat dogs in Korea, but I don't want to go out and get that either. You like soccer...great. Go watch it and leave us alone.

Ouffffff : Thank you Zebraman for your answers.

1)Too many hooligans.
Not in France but little in England and Germany

2) Not enough scoring (get rid of the offsides rule and make the goal as big as a barn).
In that case, it is the players who are not good.

3) And our main reason....we pretty much suck at it!
... ???!!!!

The other answers (ChuckElias who eats too much of hamberguers and understands French), are really provocating and not interessantes. You are right on a single point: JM Le Pen... But he is widely going to lose. Fortunately.

In the next Olympic Games, France will be stronger than the USA in the Basketball. ;-P
