Kobe lifts his pivot foot then releases the ball for a dribble. In the process, he is able to beat his defender.

Then he looks at Coach K with "that look" then looks at the refs. What a tool he is. It was the right call and it appears he STILL can't accept that this isn't the NBA. If he is supposedly among the world's best, why does he need to travel to beat a defender, and why can't he accept that he made a mistake? I see that he still has the same attitude.

Wimmen's - Saturday afternoon, bronze, then gold.

Men's - Sunday afternoon, bronze, then gold.

NBC will probaly air it two Tuesdays from now, and only on the east coast.

Actually, the game was played at 2:30AM EDT and was shown live on NBC. I know, I stayed up to watch.

I'd focus on the officiating, but I wouldn't have a whole lot of positive things to say, especially when Spain's bench came onto the floor and threw towels on the floor without technical fouls being called.

Agreed. Mechanics, rule knowledge, and game management is lacking. FIBA officiating is not on the level of officiating in the United States at this point.

But then again, Olympic officiating/judging leaves something to be desired in several areas.
